Obituary
TARBET, GLEN Passed away unexpectedly on July 17, 2020, in Kelowna, BC, at the age of 49.
Glen is survived by his wife Samantha; his children Ava & Connor; his brother Jason (Annie Gaudette). He also leaves behind his mother & father in-law (Susan & David Reed); his brother & sister in-law (Mark & Nicole Reed), as well as nieces and many more extended family and friends.
He is predeceased by his father Ian Tarbet (2005) and mother Rachel Tarbet (2013), of Vancouver Island, BC.
Glen was born on June 22, 1971 in Prince Edward Island. His family moved to Vancouver Island, BC in the early 90’s. After Glen and Samantha got married in 2002, they moved to Kelowna, BC to start their own family life. Glen worked for Weyerhaeuser for over 20 years. He enjoyed numerous activities in the outdoors with friends and family, and was well known and appreciated in the tabletop gaming community. Glen was also recognized for his great art work and attention to detail in miniature painting.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled for July 31, 2020 at the Lindon House (1449 Ethel Street, Kelowna, BC) from 10am to 12pm. Please note that due to the current Covid-19 circumstances, the event will not be a gathering, but a time for the immediate family to greet friends and family who wish to pay their respects. All guests will be required to wear a mask at the venue, hand sanitizer will be provided at the door, and we ask that if you need to use the washroom, to do so before coming to the celebration.
In lieu of flowers if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
