Passed peacefully away at Chancellor Park, St. John’s on Thursday, November 19, 2020, Gladys Cora Leamon (nee Yates) of Brigus, aged 91 years.
Predeceased by her husband John N. Leamon, parents George and Nellie Yates of Howley, and many siblings and their spouses from a family of 14 children.
She is mourned by her daughters Luanne (David Taylor), Janice (Kevin Rowlands); grandchildren Harry (Joy Sheppard), Stewart and Alistair (Drew Poirier); and great-grandchildren Lily and Jacob.
Resting at Broughton’s Funeral Home, Brigus.
Visitation to take place on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 from 2-4 P.M. ad 7-9 P.M.
Funeral to take place on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. from Brigus United Church with inurnment to follow in the Bartlett Cemetery, Brigus.
Flowers, or donations to Brigus United Church or Brigus Heritage are gratefully accepted.
