Age 61, Halifax Formerly of Tracadie, NB., passed away peacefully on December 24, 2020. Born in Tracadie, NB. She was a daughter of the late Victor and Basilice (LeClair) LeBreton. She is survived by her children, Justin Bonin (Amanda Welburn), Genevieve Bonin; granddaughter, Mercedes Paul; sister Francoise (Allen Gautreau); brothers, Daniel, Fernand, Camille (Angelina Duguay), Samuel (Rita Rouselle) and Telesphere (Lisa Thibodeau). She was predeceased by her brother Leo. Giselle was a kind, caring, and generous woman to all.
She was a proud employee of the Halifax Regional Centre for Education for over 30 years. She loved her job, especially her time spent at Chebucto Heights School where her warm and welcoming smile greeted staff and students each morning. She was also a dedicated member of St Michael’s church and showed her generosity through her countless volunteer efforts at the church and in the community. She is known by all for her amazing baking, especially her homemade bread and sweets. Everyone who knew her knows that she was most proud of her two children and beautiful granddaughter. Our family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Melville Lodge, especially the recreation staff that she loved so much.
Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Halifax and Tracadie-Sheila, NB.
