Obituary of Ghislain Josef Dube
DUBE, GHISLAIN JOSEF
The passing of Ghislain Josef Dube of Kingsley, NB, husband of Margaret Ann Drost occurred on Monday, February 10, 2020 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on February 7, 1943 in Redemption, QC, he was the son of the late Albert and Marie Rose (Charest) Dube. Ghislain loved every minute spent working in the woods.
In addition to his wife, Ghislain is survived by his son, Alain Dube (Caroline Bolduc) of Quebec; daughter, Nancy Dube (Jeffrey Yip) of Quebec; step sons, Daniel Pruneau of Quebec and Tony McGivney of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Samuel, Amelie, Alyson, Kelly, Samuel, Kelsey, Megan Anne, Guillaume, Anthony; brother, Zenon Dube (Simone); numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ghislain was predeceased by step-son, Richard “Rick” McGivney; his brothers and sisters.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Friday, February 14, 2020 from 12-2 pm followed by the Funeral Service at 2 pm with Pastor Steven Teed officiating. Interment will take place in Seymour Memorial Cemetery, Kingsley at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Fredericton Food Bank, Fredericton SPCA or the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
