Obituary of Gertrude “Trudy” Elizabeth Goldsmith
GOLDSMITH, Gertrude “Trudy” Elizabeth – Age 77, of Camperdown, Lunenburg Co., passed away on July 22, 2020 at Hillside Pines Home for Special Care, Bridgewater. Born in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late Melvin and Marion (Adams) Schnare.
Trudy is survived by her sons, Jeffrey, Italy Cross; Ian (Heather), Bridgewater; Ryan (Tanya Cooper), Italy Cross; grandson, Nolan; sisters, Barbara (Ed) Rafuse and Joey (Claude) Carter, both of Pentz; Susan (Andre) Smith, Cole Harbour. She was predeceased by her husband, Allen Goldsmith.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 27, 2020, in the Fort Point Cemetery, Fort Point, Pastor Mitchell Foley officiating.
As for public health regulations, maximum 250 people are permitted to attend; and for your safety, please consider wearing a mask and respect the physical distancing requirements.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Trudy’s memory may be made to the Pleasantville Baptist Church, Fort Point Cemetery, Hillside Pines Home for Special Care or a Charity of Choice.
