Stewart, Gertrude “Trudy” Margaret
Trudy was the fifth of six children born to Patrick & Jane Phelan on the family farm in Proton, Ontario.
Trudy was predeceased by her husband John Douglas Stewart. Cherished mother of John, Katie (Earl), Don and Jenny (Craig Birchall). Loved grandmother of Jill (Jeff Brandman), Jessica (Kyle Hynes) and Breann Birchall and great grandmother of Mali Brandman and Andile Brandman.
Trudy is predeceased by her brother Arthur (Kay), her sister Sally (Charles), sister Elizabeth, brother Tom and brother Hugh and missed by sister in law Mary Phelan of Bolton, Ontario and many nieces and nephews.
She will always be remembered by her gentle heart.
Following Trudy’s wishes cremation has taken place with no service.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to suggest doing a random act of kindness.
