Obituary of Gerry Ball
BALL: Gerald
Peacefully, at his home on Thursday, July 9, 2020. Gerald William Howard Ball of Goderich in his 75th year.
He will be greatly missed. Dear father and father-in-law of Michael Ball of Calgary, Elisabeth and Todd Shaddick, Kevin Ball all of London, Andrew Ball and Suzana Luna Macedo of Brazil, Stephen Ball and Amanda Gierling of Toronto and Angela Ball of Calgary. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Owen, Cian, Kate, Charlie, Liam, Abigail and a baby girl due in September. Also survived by the mother of his children, Anne Ball of Clinton. Brother and brother-in-law of Robert Ball (late Barbara) of Guelph, Linda Barry of Goderich, Rick and Nancy Ball of Hanover, Janice and Ron Boyes of Owen Sound and Pat and Stu Steenstra of Goderich.
Predeceased by his parents, the late Mel and Margaret (Crich) Ball and a sister Sandra, in infancy.
At Gerry’s request, cremation has taken place. As a result of the current restrictions, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Maitland Conservation Foundation or The Lake Huron Centre for Coastal Conservation would be greatly appreciated.
