MAILLET, Gerard Joseph – Age 92 of La Villa Acadienne, Meteghan, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2020 at home in the Villa. Born in Bangor, he was a son of the late Albenie and Elizabeth (Melanson) Maillet. Gerard spent over 30 years working on railroads with CP Rail. He is survived by sister, Elizabeth Pothier. He was predeceased by bothers, Camille, Ulysse, Denis, Benoit; sisters, Rosalie, Cecile, Angele. Arrangements under the care of Meteghan Funeral Home. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private burial will be held in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Saulnierville. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
