It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Gérard Hervé Paiement at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Friday May 29th, 2020 in his 76th year. Beloved son of the late Eliodore Paiement and Lucie Coutu. Beloved husband of Monique Arseneault. Loving father of Martine Mailloux and her husband Trevor, granddaughters Kiana and Jazlie of Chatham, Sébastien and his wife Mary-Anne Paiement, grandsons Tyler, Lucas, Félix and Matthieu of Kitchener, Nicolas and his wife Kristina Paiement, granddaughter Maya and grandsons Zachary and Maxime of Ottawa, and Olivier and his wife Shyla Paiement, grandson Joshua and granddaughter Jana of Brantford. Survived by one brother Richard Paiement and seven sisters Mariette Beaudoin, Aline Grandbois, Colette Robitaille, Rachel Jetté, Gisèle McKenna, Diane Sénécal, Jocelyne Montpetit. Pre-deceased by a twin brother, Gilles Paiement, a sister, Doris Grandbois, and a brother, Réal Paiement. A private family time will be held at the funeral home. A memorial mass to be announced at a later date. Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider C-K Hospice Foundation and Canadian Blood Services.
