Gerard Desrosiers February 14 2020

Obituary
On February 14, 2020, Gerry (Gerard) passed away at the age of 65 with his wife at his side and knowing that he was surrounded by the love of his family, friends and dedicated pets: Abby, Bella and Mico.
Beloved and devoted husband to Madelaine Desrosiers (Chatelain). Proud stepfather to Christiane (Steph), Nicole (PJ) and Josee.
Adored grandfather to Haeven (predeceased), Leah, Quinn, and Kesler. Cherished son of Rita and, predeceased by his father, Eugene Desrosiers. His dedication and love was felt by his mother-in-law, Aline and father-in-law, Rolland (predeceased). He was a loved brother to Helen (Bruce), Mike (Karen), Lisa (Andre), Peter (Tracy), Sue (Les), Gilles (Shannon) and brother-in-law to Monique, Pierre (Gera), and Guy (Michele). As a loved uncle, his advice and straight to the point attitude was appreciate by the many nieces and nephews that were always there to share a hug, story or laugh.
Gerry had a huge heart and always gave time to those he was with. He left an impact on everyone who was privileged to know him. Among his simple joys was time with family and friends, fishing, poker and a Saturday night with the boys. You could always expect a huge welcome, a wise crack or joke. Gerry has left us all better people for knowing him.
The family would like to express a heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Jinnah, the nurses and support staff that showed compassion and gave outstanding care.
