Gerald Kenneth Gerry Cote Tuesday July 14th 2020

Peacefully with his family by his side on July 14 2020, Gerald “Gerry” Kenneth Cote of Coleman Township, embarked on his spirit journey at the age of 65: dear son of the late Laurette Smith, beloved son of Ida and Alphonce Cote, loving husband of Lynn Moore Cote, cherished father of Julian Cote, Joseph (Sally) Cote, Laura Cote and proud grandfather of Haley and Kobie McGregor. His grounded, honest presence and sense of humour is sadly missed by his huge extended family. Gerry will be remembered for his great work ethic and his enjoyment of the great outdoors working on his projects he always had on the go. The family would like to thank Dr. Roedde and the health care providers for the wonderful care and compassion they showed Gerry; it was very much appreciated. Cremation has taken place at Lakeview Crematorium, Haileybury. The family will gather for a celebration of Gerry’s life at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Buffam Leveille Funeral Home, Haileybury, 705-672-3122. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Cobalt-Coleman Food Bank or Community Cancer Care.
