October 11, 1942 – April 25, 2020
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Georgina Kathleen May Cowdell of
Edmonton, born 77 years ago on Thanksgiving Sunday. She is survived by John, her loving husband of 57 years, daughters, Shelley (Tim) Vanderford and Darla Cowdell; grandchildren, Richard, Gregory (Dani) and Kristia; great-grandchildren, Mason, Olivia and Connor; her brother, Richard (Marie) Hall. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends. Georgina’s hours of volunteer work and the souls she touched are too many to list”, she will be dearly missed and often thought of by all who knew her. Georgina’s service will be live-streamed, Monday, May 4, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at www.parkmemorial.com/obituaries/Cowdell webcasting. If you are able to, please join the webcast. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. During these trying times we cannot gather as we would like to and a Celebration of Georgina’s Life will be planned for a later date.
