Georgina Ferguson
1933-2020
The death occurred at Prince County Hospital, Summerside on
Sunday, August 2, 2020 of Georgina Ferguson R.N of O’Leary aged 86,
beloved wife of Douglas Ferguson. Georgina was born in Lower Freetown
on September 23, 1933, daughter of the late J. Scott and Georgie
Cairns.
Cherished mother to Kent (Laurie), Garth (Jennifer), David
(Carol Ann) and Karen Ann (Robert). Loving nannie to Bailey (Ashley),
Kim, Marcus, Chad (Kelly), Brett and great nannie to Grace, Delton and
Bodhi. Nannie will miss her favourite fur baby,
Chloe.
Dear sister to William “Bill” Cairns, Louise
(Don) McConaghy, and Amy Borys. Sister in law to Vernon Millar, Rev.
William McDowell, Merrill (Marty) Ferguson, Lyman (Gail) Ferguson,
Florence (Winston) Provencher, Wendell Ferguson and Helga
Ferguson.
Georgina was predeceased by her parents, twin sons Dean and
Don, sisters Winifred McDowell, Helen Millar, brothers in law Peter
Borys, Elliott Ferguson and sister in law Helen Ann
Cairns.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with
private family funeral arrangements to be held on Wednesday. Interment
to follow in the Bloomfield United Church
Cemetery.
In memory of Georgina, memorials to the Bloomfield United
Church Cemetery would be appreciated.
