Georges Williams
1931-2020
Georges Williams, 88, of Saint-Antoine, passed away peacefully at the
Dr Georges-L-Dumont UHC on Sunday February 9, 2020. He was married to
Anita (Pellerin) Williams. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late
Viola Williams and the adopted son of the late Frank and the late
Rose-Mai (Gagnon) Williams.
Georges was a machinist for Humphrey Mill in the US for a number of
years and he loved to garden.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 64 years, Anita, his
adopted sister, Barbara Leger (Leon-Guy) of Saint-Antoine, his half
siblings; Irene (Armand), Jeanette, Beatrice, Corinne (Henri), Albert,
Edgar, Barbara all of Moncton, Alyre of Ontario, his goddaughter,
Genevieve and several nieces and nephews.
Georges was predeceased by a son George Jr (1959), his godson, Fernand
and two brothers; Len and John.
Visitations will be held at the Notre-Dame du Sacré Coeur Roman
Catholic Church Slumber Room, Notre-Dame, on Wednesday February 12,
2020 from 2 to 4 and from 5:30 to 6:45pm followed by the Funeral Mass
at 7:00pm.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Notre-Dame du
Sacré Coeur parish.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
