Obituary of George Lackie
George passed away at Forest Heights Long Term Care on Monday, May 4, 2020 at the age of 77.
Loving father of George (Evelyn), Mark (Diann), and Derek (Rachel); grandfather of Terri-Lynn (Matt), Sarah (Dan), Andrew (Kaitlyn), Heather (Jose), Kristin, Quinn, Tyler (Nicole) and Aidan; and great-grandfather of Caitlyn, Ethen, Brianna, Evan, Alexis, Ariana, Dominic, Peyton, Korah, and Gavin. Fondly remembered by his former wife Maureen.
George proudly served in the British Navy and worked for Ontario Northland Railway in North Bay for 27 years. He loved soccer and enjoyed walking.
Cremation has taken place and interment will be made at Williamsburg Cemetery, Kitchener at a later date.
