Obituary for Mr. George Harvey Hartwick
George Harvey Hartwick, 89, of Collingwood, Ontario, Canada, died Thursday, 30 July 2020 at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital. Born on Monday, 4 May 1931, in London, Ontario, he was the son of Clarence Miller Hartwick and Vera Anna (Dinsmore). Mr Hartwick was a well-known antiquarian horologist and long-standing member of the National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Irene Agnes (Appleton) Hartwick. George Harvey is also survived by three children, Bradley Jon and his wife Rosanne of Collingwood, Karen Jill of Stratford, and Peter Joel and his wife Cat of Tampa; five grandchildren, Michelle (Stevenson) Kapler and her husband Peter of Toronto, Tyler Hartwick and his fiancée Erin of Stratford, Brandon, Dylan and New of Tampa; two great grandchildren, Leah Christine Kapler and David Casimir Kapler of Toronto. George Harvey was preceded in death by four grandparents, Abraham and Mary (Miller) Hartwick, George and Mary Ellen (Mowbray) Dinsmore.
