At the QEH, on Sunday, August 9th, 2020,of George E. Monaghan
of Charlottetown, (formerly of Kelly’s Cross) age 82 years. Beloved
husband of Joan (nee Costello) Monaghan. Dear father of Wendy
Gillespie (Richard Robison). Lovingly remembered by
grandchildren Landon Gillespie, Carson Cantelo, and sister Frances
Trainor. Predeceased by his parents Emmett and Mary Monaghan, brother
Jerome, sisters Lency Carragher, Mary Gallant, brothers-in-law Frank
Carragher, George Trainor, Cornelius Gallant and sister-in-law Gemma
Monaghan. No visitation by personal request. Funeral mass will be held
from St. Joseph’s Church as per COVID 19 regulations. If so desired
memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Cemetery would be
