It is with great sadness, the family of Genoveffa (Genny) Luc announce her peaceful passing at Allendale Long Term Care Facility on December 22, 2020. Loving Mother to Lida (Frank) Dambrosi and Mary (Claude) Musclow. Cherished Nonna to Mark (Nikki) Dambrosi, Sarah Dambrosi, Greg (Raelene) Dambrosi, Julianna Musclow and Lauren Musclow. Adored Biz Nonna to Liam and Lauchlan Dambrosi. Predeceased by her husband Luigi, sisters Luigia, Ernesta, Emma, Angelina and brother Rosanno Gregoris. Survived by her sister Maria. She will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Genny was a wonderful cook and baker as well as enjoying knitting and crocheting. Her passions were her family and gardening.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the McKersie-Kocher Funeral Home 114 Main St. E. Milton 905-878-4452 on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 from 7pm-9pm.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions in Halton being changed to a red zone, attendance is limited. Please call 905-878-4452 (between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm) to check for an available time. These booked visitation times are strict, so we ask that you show up for entrance at your allotted time. Everyone must follow proper health and safety advice, including physical distancing of two metres from people who are not from the same household or their established 10-person social circle. Please refrain from hugging, kissing and shaking hands and please keep your face mask on at all times.
The funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, December 24, 2020. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
