Obituary of Genevieve Parent
PARENT, Genevieve “Gen” (nee Masse)
passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Erie Shore Hospice. Beloved wife of the late Eugene “Gene” (2004). Loving mother of Nadine and Jerry Driedger, Gisele “Gidge” and Kevin Hudvagner. Cherished Grandma of Faith, Joline, Curtis and Grace. Dearest sister of Bernadette Larsh (late Raymond), Gerard Masse (Ruth Ann), late Marie Laprise (late Claude), Patricia Weishaar (Hans), Richard Masse (Nicki) (late Sharon), Loretta Masse (Doug Sweet), Eleonore Mayhew (Larry), Marc Masse (Cathy), Robert Masse, Vincent Masse (Joanne), and late infant Antoinette Masse. Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Gen will also be missed by her friends at Lutsch apartments. Gen will be remembered as a woman of strong faith and an incredible role model to her children and grandchildren. Her baked goods were a treat her family and friends always looked forward to. She will be forever loved and missed. The family would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses and caregivers for the exceptional care shown to Gen throughout her illness. In following Gen’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial donations may be made to Erie Shores Hospice by contacting Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street, Leamington (519-326-2631).
