Genevieve’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts the family of the late Genevieve Kennedy (nee White) announce her passing on December 11th ,2020 at the Corner Brook Long term Care in her 77th year surrounded by her family. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories is her son; Bryon (Sonya) White, grandchildren; Brianna and Connor.Her siblings ; Peggy (Jim), Classie (Edward), Gerald (Margaret) and Emmerson (Thelma). Sister-in-law Susanne. Also left to mourn are numerous special nieces, nephews and other family & friends.Genevieve was predeceased by her husband Kevin Kennedy in April 2019, her parents Ronald & Minnie White and brothers; Lloyd and Claude.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Colleen, Meta, Gail and family friend Jay as well as the Dr.’s , nurses and staff of the Corner Brook Long Term Care 2 North unit for the care they have given for the time mom spent there.
The family will be receiving family and friends on Saturday December 12th from the hours of 2-4 at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel also where the funeral service will take place on Sunday December 13th, 2020 at 1pm. with Father Gabriel officiating. In keeping with Genevieve’s wishes cremation will follow and inurnment will take place at a later date.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake.
