Hall – 102, passed
away peacefully on Wednesday afternoon, April 8, 2020, at The Mira
Long Term Care Centre, Truro. Born in Truro, she was the daughter of
the late Melvin and Ada (Elliott) MacMillan.
Geneva was an adherent of The Peoples Church and her faith
was a very important part of her life. She worked at CNR Station
Restaurant for ten years and then at Scotia Square in Halifax. She was
a wonderful mother and a very kind lady who was always helping others;
she will be missed by everyone who knew her. She had been a resident
of The Mira for two years and she loved living there.
Geneva is survived by her daughter, Carol Waller, Truro;
sons, Darrell Hall, Scarborough, Ontario; Brian (Tonette) Hall,
Northwest Territories; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces
and nephews. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her
husband, William “Bill” Hall (1965); brothers,
Archie Elliott and Basil Roberts; son-in-law, Les
Waller.
Honouring Geneva’s wishes, a private interment will
be held at Watson Cemetery, Truro. Arrangements have been entrusted to
Mattatall – Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro.
