Gaston Fernand Dessureault
In loving memory of Gaston Dessureault who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at the age of 83.
Gaston was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who treasured and lived for his family. He worked hard and took pride taking care of his loved ones. He was a great mechanic, well liked and respected by his co-workers and clients. He loved his wife’s cooking, spending time with his family, blueberry picking and playing a good game of cribbage.
He is survived by his wife Huguette (Hurtubise), his children Donald (Monique Clément) of Whitby, Lise (Jean-Louis Gauvreau) of New Liskeard, Marjolaine (Roger Lapointe) of Chapleau, Daniel (Lyndsay Wilson-McGuire) of Whitby and Michel (Josée Landry) of New Liskeard. Beloved grandfather of Véronique (Tyler Gibbs), Gabriel (Nicole Léveillé), Kayla, Ashley, Sean, Alexandre, Sarah, Laura, Megan, Brayden, Angèle, Patrick, and great-grandfather to Lucie. Dear brother of Madeleine (Joe) Arbour, Jeannine (Adrien) Plante, Rose-Alice (André) Plante, Claire (Jim) Detulleo, Marielle (Wayne) Macdonald, Laurent (Reina Léveillé) Dessureault, the late Bertrand (Eleanor Folz) Dessureault, the late Denise (Donald) Dumont, the late Therese (Armand) Mallet, and the late Marcel (late Sharon Joncas ) Dessureault.
Cremation has taken place at Lakeview Crematorium, Haileybury. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to BUFFAM LEVEILLE FUNERAL HOME, Haileybury, 705-672-3122.
