Obituary of Gary Douglas Chase
The death of Gary Douglas Chase of Hardwood Ridge, NB occurred Friday, December 18, 2020 at his home.
Born in Minto, NB he was the son of the late Douglas and Martha (Shirley) Chase.
Gary and Jean were happily married for 44 years. he was always supporting his children’s activities, Gary enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Was owner and operator of Chase’s Trucking. He was a past president and vice president of the Grand Lake Minor Hockey. A member of the Masonic Lodge, Minto for several years.
Survived by his loving wife, Jean (Egers) Chase; sons, Nicholas, Aaron (Katie) and Nolan (Stacey); 4 grandchildren, Lauren, Ethan, Wyatt and Lucy; sisters, Paulette Yates and Cheryl Quigley (Brian); brother, Lloyd (Lorna); mother-in-law, Lucy Egers; canine buddy, Bitsy; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A private service will take place. Interment will take place in Wallbridge Cemetery. For those who wish, donations made to the Minto – Grand Lake Minor Hockey would be greatly appreciated by the family.
