1944-2020
Gary Allison Derrah of Peel passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at
the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. He was born September
15, 1944 and was the son of the late Raymond and Verna Derrah. Besides
his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Wendell Derrah and a
brother-in-law, Clinton Shaw.
Gary is survived by his wife, Barbara Derrah of Peel; children,
Jeffrey (Michelle) Derrah of Oakland, Tina (Gary) Crain of Greenfield,
Jonathan (Kelly) Derrah of Peel; grandchildren, Nicholas Crain,
Chelsey Crain, Jenna Derrah, Connor Derrah; siblings, Shirley (Ray)
Ebbett, Robert (Opal) Derrah, Eugene Derrah; sisters-in-law, Margaret
Ann Derrah, Joan Derrah, Carol Shaw; nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions there will be a private visitation and
funeral. The public is invited to join the family for the committal
service at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Thursday, July 23rd at 1:45
p.m. Social distancing is advised at the cemetery. If so desired,
donations can be made to the Mount Pleasant United Baptist Church or
