Garth Gill February 6th 2020

April 13, 1943 – February 6, 2020
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Garth Gill on February 6, 2020. Garth was born and raised in Armstrong BC, where he enjoyed a life full of laughter, love, family, and friends. He was a devoted husband of over 50 years to Alana; A loving father to his pride and joy, his boys, Robert, Tom (Cindy), and Scott (Julie); and a fiercely proud grandfather to Carly, Eric, Averi, and Jeremy. He was a man always surrounded by family, the second youngest of 15 kids he shared a close bond with his siblings and would drop everything to help were he could.
He spent over 38 years at the mill before taking an early retirement that allowed him to perfect his golf swing, spoil his grandkids, and spend his mornings visiting over coffee and sharing the town gossip. Garth enjoyed his morning trips to the hardware store to keep Dale and John in line. Garth also played many sports but his greatest passion was that of being an Armstrong Shamrock for many years. Garth left his blood, sweat and teeth out on the floor.
A loud voice, a booming laugh, and a big heart. While his physical presence will be missed greatly, the memory of Garth will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew him.
A celebration of Garth’s life will be held at a later date.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Garth Gill February 6th 2020..
