APRIL 14, 1943 – AUGUST 4, 2020
Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, after a courageous battle at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, Garry Eugene Carson of Tillsonburg, passed away at the age of 77 years. Loving husband of 31 years to Holly. Caring father of the late Judy Lynn Carson (1960), Bryon Carson (Crystal); Carolyn Carson (Phil); Glen Carson (Stacey). Step-father to Rob DeSutter (Kim); Jamie Racher (Melvin); Helen DeSutter (the late Danny). Proud grandfather “Gramps” to Trevor Carson; Adam Carson; Katie Carson; Mindy Carson. Step-grandfather to Brandon DeSutter; Kyle Rachar; and Carson Rachar. Great grandfather to Keegan DeSutter. Brother of Ed Carson; and Wendy Laurier (Brian). Step-brother to Jack Veit (Marlene); and Joy Milmine. Predeceased by his parents Eugene and Jean Carson, and brother Lanny. Garry was a past, proud member of the Optimist Club of Tillsonburg, Tillsonburg King Hiram Lodge # 78, and the Tillsonburg Shriner’s. Garry loved to Hunt and tried to be “a great friend to all”
At the request of Garry, cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will be held at a later date at the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital – Dialysis Unit would be appreciated by the Carson family.
