It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Gabrielle ‘Brie’ Marie Lindstrom (nee Van Loo) of Red Deer, Alberta, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the age of 41 years. Brie was born on January 13, 1979 in Red Deer, Alberta to Art and Jo Van Loo. The pre-teen phase of life was a joy. Being a teen was a lot more challenging for Brie as that is when her illness started. She had just turned twenty when the love of her life, her son, Dawson Van Loo was born. She later married the man she loved; Dawson’s Dad, Lorne Lindstrom and they continued to be a family. Brie to associate with the elderly and paid special attention to her grandmother. Brie looked forward to camping and campfires with her family and friends. Her dog, Nikko was treated like a second child. Those who knew Brie experienced her open loving ways, funny outspoken personality, and warm hugs. Brie will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Lorne Lindstrom; son, Dawson Van Loo; step-son, Jordon Lindstrom and step-daughter, Mackenzie Lindstrom. She will also be sadly missed by her parents, Art and Jo Van Loo, her sister, Andrea (Ken) Ames as well as numerous family members and dear friends. A Celebration of Brie’s Life will be held at a later date. Cremation entrusted to Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium, Red Deer, Alberta.
