It is with great
sadness the family of Gordon “Reid” Villett announces his
passing on
Thursday, August 20, 2020, at St.
Joseph’s Health Centre in Toronto, Ontario. Reid was
born in Hampton, PEI, on December 9, 1940 to Georgie and Gordon
Villett. He is
survived by his loving wife, Marilyn Villett
(nee Sellar) and will be greatly missed by son Marc (Karen) Villett of
Mississauga, daughter Michelle Villett of Toronto and
grandchildren Emily and Jack Villett; brother Harry Villett (late
Peggy) of Bangor,
Maine; sisters Florence Armstrong (late
Don) of Toronto and Gladys Wright (late
Robert) of
Charlottetown, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Due to
current restrictions, a private visitation will be held in Toronto, ON
followed by a private funeral service and interment in Crapaud
People’s Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Dawson Funeral
Home, Crapaud, P.E.I. As an expression of sympathy, donations
may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or the Heart
and Foundation. Online condolances may be made at
