Obituary
A celebration of life will be celebrated from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, August 14, 2020 at 12 noon, with visitation from 10 am until service time. Interment will follow in the Bradshaw Family Cemetery. Staff will be available at the main entrance of the funeral home to assist guests. Please note that physical distancing restrictions will be observed during the gathering, and masks are strongly recommended.
It is with heavy hearts, the family and friends of Frederick Benjamin Bradshaw announces his passing which occurred at his residence on Saturday, April 25, 2020. Born in St. Martins, NB on June 4, 1956 he is the son of Frederick C. Bradshaw and the late Wilma “Doris” (Gullage) Bradshaw. In addition to his mother he was predeceased by his wife Alice Marie Ann (David) Bradshaw (July 11, 2019), brother Todd Bradshaw and granddaughter Hope Bradshaw.
Ben worked as a pipefitter for Local UA 213 Pipefitters/Welders at various construction sites for 41 years.
When not riding his Harley with family and friends, he could be found at the camp with his best friend Ricky Clayton. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Most of all he was a proud grandfather and loved every minute spent with each of them.
He is survived by his sons Benjamin Bradshaw (Terri) of St. Martins, Kyle Bradshaw (Kate) of St. Martins and Brandon LaRocque of Saint John; stepsons Anthony (Chelsea) of Alberta, Jordon (Amanda) of Saint John and Jesse (Shayla) of Saint John; cherished grandchildren Dominic, Ryder, Dawson, Skyla, Addison, Serenity, Devin, Jacey, Nevaeh, Easton, Alexis, Aaliyah, Jayden, Kayden, Koda, Lilly and Wyatt; sisters Bonnie Wilson (Richard) of St. Martins, Robin (Bradshaw) Laird (Bill) of Greenwood, NS and Sherry Savoie (Steve) of St. Martins; special friend Amanda Johnson; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Remembrances in memory of Ben may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
