Obituary of Freda Summers
Summers, Freda of Aylmer passed away peacefully with her children by her side at London Health Science Centre-University Hospital on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Harold George Summers(2017). Loving mother of Vicky Carrel(Donnie) of Brownsville, Mary Lou Bentley(Dave) of Tillsonburg, Kenny Summers(Linda McCallum) of New Sarum, Maxine Posthumus(Rick) of Aylmer, Georgina Blankenship(Steve) of Aylmer. Dear sister of Dorothy Pressey(late Don). Predeceased by a son-in-law Allen Taber and a sister Jean Caughill(Lloyd). Loved by her grandchildren Christine, Tyler(Cory-Anne), Dwayne(Amanda), Matt(Amy), Todd(Jobina), Justin(Dana), Chantelle(Jay) and Stevie. Also survived by a number of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Sister-in-law of Carl Summers(Doris), Russell Summers(Rosaland), Esther Gray(The late Jim) and Marie Summers(late Lyle). Born in South Dorchester Twp. on August 28, 1931, daughter of the late Ross and Lena (Purdy) Bagnall. She was a member of the Kettle Valley Pioneers and the Terrace Lodge Aux. Freda enjoyed knitting and her coffee and friends at Tim Hortons and A & W. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, friends and family who wish to attend the visitation on Friday evening can call the funeral home at (519 773 8400) to register(masks required). A private family funeral service will be held on Saturday. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. Donations to the Terrace Lodge Aux. would be appreciated. Share memories or condolences at kebbelfuneralhome.com
