Obituary of Frank Searle
Searle, Frank
Passed away at the Stedman Community Hospice on Sunday, December 27th, 2020 at 86 years of age. Frank was a devoted husband of 66 years to Audrey (nee Rowley). In 1952, after driving his 31′ Chevy to a dance in Ancaster, he met Audrey and they’ve been dancing together ever since. Frank would take an annual fishing trip, but over the years he and Audrey were rarely apart. His career was defined by the years he spent working as a warehousing and distribution manager for Texpack (later Baxter). In his personal time, he was a skilled builder, and loved to get out on his sailboat whenever possible. In the early 70’s, he and Audrey bought property in Wiarton on Colpoy’s Bay, and with help from the family and friends, built a rustic home with several outbuildings where they lived overlooking the Bay for 17 years. After an early retirement, he and son Jim started Searle Manufacturing. He was lucky to acquire many friends over his lifetime, and he and Audrey are grateful for their 2 children Jim (Heather) and Dave (Carolyn); 6 grandchildren Trudy, Miranda (Richard), Brianne, Shauna (Sam), Alannah (Greg) and Lilly; and 4 great grandchildren Jordan, Maddison, Alyssa and Hailey. He is predeceased by his brother Bob (Anita) and sister Monica (Jim). The family wishes to thank the Stedman Community Hospice for their compassion and care. Due to COVID 19 restrictions a private service will take place at Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford 519-752-4331. In lieu of flowers donations to the Stedman Community Hospice would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Frank in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Frank
