Obituary for Frank Thomas Beale
“Order what you want, eat what you get” was a well-known phrase from Dad.
Dad resided at Pleasant View lodge in Spirit River where he met and many friends who he played cards and bingo with. Dad was born in Garden Bay, British Columbia, and was the 4th child of five. Over the years he lived between BC and Alberta, but his heart was always on the Sunshine Coast.
Dad was jack of all trades, fisherman, a logger, road and building construction. He was very creative with wood and passed on those skills. He enjoyed playing cards watching sports, Sci-Fi/Fantasy movies and fishing. Dad lived life to the fullest. He was always there for his family and friends. Dad would help anyone in need, be it a meal, a job, or a safe place to sleep.
His greatest gift to his children was the values he taught us. Dad was vibrant and loved with all his heart, he loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren with unconditional love. His caring ways inspired many. Dad was our hero and will be missed.
Dad has left behind many who loved and adored him, but he now joins the love of his life, Charlotte. They now watch over us and guide us.
Funeral Services will be held the summer of 2021 on Sunshine Coast in a private ceremony as he wished.
Dad was survived by his two sisters, 3 children, 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, his special friend Mary F., numerous nieces, nephews and many extended family. Due to the unexpectedness of his death, any assistance with funeral costs would be appreciated. Donations and cards may be sent to Tom and Petrina Beale either by e-transfer to tcbeale@yahoo.ca or Box 118, Rycroft, AB T0H 3A0.
