Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Francis “Frank” Anthony Logan, announces his passing that occurred on Monday September 7, 2020 at Bobby’s Hospice. Born in Saint John on August 11, 1933 he was the son of the late Francis and Pearl (Lord) Logan. Frank worked for Dominion Stores for over 30 years in the meat department. He was a 4th degree Knights of Columbus Member, Council 6770 and a long-time member of the 30-up club.
Frank enjoyed many hobbies over the years; hunting, angling, fly tying, picking apples, cooking, listening to country music and trailering in Hammond River, just to name a few. He was devoted to his family and friends and will always be remembered as a true gentleman.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Elizabeth “Betty” (Murphy) Logan; his children Mark (Sharon), Lori (Terry), Grant (Sandy), Darren (Jenny); grandchildren Melissa (Tinishia), Sacha (Denis) Angela (Mike), Zoe, Jake; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Frank was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Paul and Joseph, sisters June McGraw and Anna Titus and infant Baby Joyce.
The family would like to take this opportunity to thank the amazing staff of Bobby’s Hospice for the exceptional care given to Frank during his stay there.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd where visitation will be held on Thursday September 10, 2020 from 2-4 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from St. Ann’s Catholic Church on Friday September 11, 2020 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Staff will be available at the main entrance of the funeral home to assist guests with social distancing measures when they arrive. Please note, at the family’s request, masks WILL be mandatory. Donations in his memory may be made to Bobby’s Hospice, Canadian Diabetes Association, or the charity of one’s choice.
