GAUDIO, Frank
Passed away peacefully at Veteran’s Hospital, on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, in his 102nd year. Dear husband of the late Doris (Huntley). Happily married for 49 years. Devoted, loving and caring father of Marion (Jim), Frank (Gail) and Cathy. Predeceased by his children Janice, Christine, Wayne and Michael. Loving grandfather of Marci (Scott), Lori (Matt), Tom (Jen), Crissy (Leo), Janice (Colin), Michael, Christopher and Kimberly (Tyler). Loving great grandfather to 18. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. He adored and loved his family and friends. He touched the hearts of everyone he met. We will always remember his endless stories of serving in the Second World War, his love of food and drink, his countless visits to the casino, his charm and sincerity, his laughter and his unconditional love. We will miss you dearly and love you always. You are forever in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. We would like to thank the wonderful staff who took such great care of him. Your kindness is very much appreciated. Visitation will be held for both Frank and his late son Michael on Sunday August 16th from 3-4, 7-7:45 and 8-9 o’clock at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street. Prayers will be held at 8:15. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Monday morning, August 17th at 11 o’clock. Interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Due to Covid 19 restrictions as per Bereavement Authority of Ontario a limited number of people are able to attend. Please e-email donohue@donohuefuneralhome.ca to register your time preference. Donations made to Parkwood Institute Veteran’s Care Program would be greatly appreciated.
