Francis Reginald “Reg” Bernard
1952-2020
The death occurred at his late residence on Thursday, October
8, 2020 of F. Reginald “Reg” Bernard of Rocky Point, age 68
years. Survived by his wife Sheila (nee Francis)
Bernard; children, Sheri Bernard and Kelly Bernard (Neil);
granddaughter Meiko (Zack) and great-grandchildren Ryder, Gracie and
Esme. Siblings: Keptin John Joe Sark (Eileen), Cathy Fry (Dave),
Keptin James Bernard (Sharon), Peter Bernard (Christine), Frederick
Bernard, Elaine Rayner, Cyrus Bernard (Patsy), Judy Bernard (Kevin),
Chief Darlene Bernard (Donald), Jean Bernard, Philip Bernard (Mary),
Joan Bernard and Janet Banks (Cecil).
Brothers- and sisters-in-law: Shirley St. Onge, Doreen
Jenkins (Chris), Vernon Francis, Wendy Francis and Jeanie Francis
(Allison); Uncles Jim Sark and Hubert Sark; several nieces and
nephews.
Predeceased by his parents David and Dorothy (nee Sark)
Bernard; sisters Margaret, Susan and brother Darryl.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown
Funeral Home.
Due to current restrictions, a private visitation and Funeral
Mass will be held. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis of
Assisi Church, Cornwall with interment to follow in St. Francis of
Assisi and St. Martin de Tour Cemetery, Cumberland.
If so desired, memorial contributions may be made
electronically to the PEI Humane Society or the Upper Room Hospitality
Ministry (Food Bank & Soup Kitchen).
