Francis “Frankie” Leland Harris
1959 – 2020
Francis “Frankie” Leland Harris, husband of Rhonda (MacCallum) Harris of Cassilis, NB, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at the age of 61. Born in Newcastle, NB, he was the son of the late Stanley and Jean (MacFarlane) Harris.
Frankie worked in housekeeping at the Miramichi Regional Hospital. Frankie was an avid sports fan, a former baseball player and coach of baseball, softball and basketball. He was a family man and adored his granddaughters: Ella and Vada.
Frankie is survived by his wife: Rhonda; two daughters: Robyn Harris (Chris Russell) of Miramichi, NB and Kelli Crute (Tyler Hilchey) of Cassilis, NB; one sister: Debbie Scott (Bruce) of Saint John, NB; five brothers: Tom (Anne) of Newfoundland, Fred (Patsy) of Cassilis, NB, Robert (Mandy) of Cassilis, NB, Dave (Rose) of Sunny Corner, NB and Richard (Ellen) of Saint John, NB, as well as several nieces and nephews.
At the family’s request there will be no visitation at the funeral home. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be a private family funeral service held at Meadows Funeral Home Chapel, Sunny Corner, on Thursday, December 3, 2020 with Reverend Les Somers officiating.
As expressions of sympathy in Frankie’s memory, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Messages of condolence can be sent through the funeral home website at www.bellsmeadows.com
