Obituary for
Frances Georgina Rayner (Finn)
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear Mother, Frances Rayner (nee Finn), on July 12th, 2020, at the age of 87. After a very brief illness, Mom passed with her daughters at her side.
Her daughters, Linda (late John), Laura (Glenn), Cathy (Wally) and son-in-law Louis (late Jo-Anne) will miss her greatly.
Mom was sadly predeceased by many she loved dearly – her husband Allan (2014), her daughter Jo-Anne (2015), her step-granddaughter Marie (2015), and her son-in-law John (2017).
Nanny is survived by her loving grandchildren, Sean, Anna, Sophie, Sara, Andrea, Emily and Dan and great granddaughter, Maddison. She is also survived by step grandchildren Joe, Erin and Ryan and step great grandchildren Lloyd and Rosemary.
Frances was the daughter of the late Michael Finn and Mary Jane Bobbitt of Montreal. Predeceased by sisters: Eileen, Julia, Nora, Myrtle, Mary and brothers: Tommy, George, John, Michael and Buddy.
Auntie Fran will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews who were so kind to keep up with her over the years.
Frances will also be missed by her many friends and neighbours who also kindly kept in touch with her over the years.
It is with gratitude that we acknowledge the compassionate care of the ER at the General hospital in our mother’s final moments. And it is with deep appreciation we acknowledge the love and care that our mom received from Bearbrook Residence in her final years.
Due to the current COVID19 situation, we have decided to have a celebration of life in the spring of 2021.
In memoriam donations to Serenity Renewal appreciated .

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Frances Georgina
