Floyd Davenport
1937-2020
Floyd Davenport of Beaconsfield, NB, passed away peacefully at Hotel
Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on June 19, 2020.
Floyd was born in Four Falls, NB, on April 5, 1937. He was the son of
the late Ross and Beulah (Williams) Davenport. Floyd leaves behind his
daughters, Lisa Hatheway (Stephen) of Beaconsfield, NB, Naida Downing
(Richard) of Bairdsville, NB; his son, Phil Toner (Annette) of
Beaconsfield, NB; 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; his
sisters, Marie Goodine (Graydon) of Fredericton, NB, Elva Davenport of
Hamilton, ON, Lorraine Dixon of Woodstock, NB; along with numerous
nieces and nephews.
Floyd was predeceased by his parents; his wife, Geraldine Davenport
(Toner); his sisters, Anna Pirie and Glenna Chase; his brothers,
Norman Hitchcock, Gerald Ferguson, Ronald Davenport, Lester Davenport,
and Lloyd Davenport.
Resting at Calvary Tabernacle in Perth-Andover, NB, with visitation on
Monday from 12-2 pm. Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 22,
2020 at 2 pm from Calvary Tabernacle. Pastor David Ferrell
officiating. Interment will follow in St. George’s Anglican Cemetery,
Bairdsville, NB.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the IWK or the Ronald MacDonald House
would be appreciated by the family.
