Florence Pinette 2020

It is with great sadness the family of Florence Pinette, 92 of Bathurst, announces her passing on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, with family at her side.
Born in Bathurst, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Bella (Lavigne) Aubie.
She is survived by her two daughters, Betty Mallais (Matt) of Beresford and Joan O’Neil (late Stephen) of South Tetagouche.
Three grandchildren, Denis Mallais (Joanne) of Bathurst, Stephanie O’Neil (Evan) of Moncton and Kevin O’Neil (Jennifer) of Big River.
Six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by a sister, Genevieve Aubie of Bathurst and a brother-in-law Bill Melanson of Bathurst.
In addition to her parents, Florence was predeceased by her first husband Harold Vienneau and her second husband Rudolph Pinette, brothers, Clifford, Rudolph and Raymond and a sister Frances Melanson.
Florence was a member of the CWL and a past president of the Denis Fournier Golden Age Club.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes for the excellent care given to her during her stay.
There will be no visitation. A private funeral service for the immediate family will be held. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
Donations in memory of Florence may be made to the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes or a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com) Bathurst.
