Florence Caissie
1934-2020
Florence Caissie, 85, of Cocagne, passed away peacefully at the
Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital, on Saturday May 2, 2020. She was
married to the late David Caissie. Born in Memramcook, she was the
daughter of the late Eugene and the late Marie (Cormier) Gaudet.
She will be sadly missed by her children; Noella Landry (Donald) of
Saint-Francois-de-Madawaska, Annette Belliveau (Gerard), Rosella
Caissie, both of Saint-Paul, Louise Saulnier (Louis) of Notre-Dame,
Paul (Marielle) of Saint-Joseph-de-Kent, Rheal (Diane) of Bouctouche,
Leonard, Raymond (Mike) both of Cocagne,her son-in-law, Raymond
Girouard, nineteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. She
also leaves to mourn her sisters; Annette Melanson (late Maurice),
Rita Marais, Dora Gosselin (Gerald) all of Moncton, Imelda Arsenault
(late Eloi) of Memramcook, Yvonne Comeau (Léonel), Loretta Landry
(Alvin) both of Dieppe, Jeannine Henrie (Marcel) of Saint-Paul, her
brothers; Léonard (late Jeanne) of Memramcook, Léonce
(Loretta), Omer (Thérèse) both of Memramcook, one
sister-in-law Edwidge Gaudet of Notre-Dame, one brother-in-law,
Normand Gaudet and several nieces and nephews.
Florence was predeceased by a daughter, Denise (2020), two sisters;
Germaine and Dorice and six brothers; Alfred, Raymond, Robert, Pierre,
Jean and Ronald.
Visitations and Funeral Service will take place at a later date due to
the Covid-19 pandemic.
In Florence’s memory a donation can be made to the Alzheimer
Society of Canada.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
