Florence (Barnes)’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of the late Florence Bennett (Barnes) at her private residence on Friday, June 12, 2020 at the age of 94 years. She leaves to mourn her sons: Calvin (Cindy), Millard (Judy), Monty (Rosanne); her daughters: Shirley (Bob), Pam (Silas); her 11 grandchildren: Calvin, Gordon, Jeffrey, Tina, Tammy, Amanda, April, Heather, Monty, Nicholas, and Glenda; 20 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, her fur baby Candy. Florence was predeceased by her husband, Cecil (June 20, 2016), infant daughter Grace, parents: Fred & Martha Barnes; father and mother in law: William & Blanche Bennett; brothers: Wesley, Roland, George; sister Cedella; grandchildren: Stephen White, Freddie Welshman; son in law Ivan. A special thank you to homecare workers Lisa Soper, Julia Saunders, and Maxine Park; also to Dr. Callahan and Coady LaFosse Community Health Nurse. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, a private visitation and funeral service will take place. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are accepted or memorial donations in memory of Florence may be made to the SPCA.
