Hunter, Flora Alice
The passing of Flora Alice Hunter of Taymouth, NB, wife of the late Read Doak, occurred on Friday, July 10, 2020 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 17, 1952 in Doaktown, NB, she was a daughter of the late Ashley and Patricia (Payne) Hunter. Flora worked for the Department of Supply and Services for 25 years. She was an avid reader and was most happy when she had a book in her hands and loved spending time with her dog, Sammy.
Flora is survived by her sisters, Wendy Werthmann (Edward), Heather Hunter and Cindy Hunter; nieces and nephews, Alexander, Katarina, Ashley, Allison, Amanda and Scott; great nephew, Kyler; great nieces,Addyson and Kyleigh, Zoey and Scarlett; great great niece, Elle;and brother-in-law, Arden Doak.
Due to the current health situation, a Memorial Service by invitation only, will take place from St. Mary’s Anglican Church, 780 McEvoy Street, Fredericton, NB on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 with Rev. Canon Kevin Stockall officiating. Interment will take place in St. Peters Anglican Church Cemetery, Boiestown, NB at 1 pm. This will be open for those who wish to attend, with social distancing practices in place. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
