Felicia Ifoma Brittany Dijeh Saturday January 11th 2020

Felicia Dijeh
May 11, 1991 – January 11, 2020
Our beloved daughter, sister, auntie, colleague and friend, Felicia Ifoma Brittany Dijeh, died peacefully Saturday evening, January 11th, 2020.
Felicia was born May 11th, 1991, in Winnipeg, MB. Since our earliest memory, Felicia was known for her passionate, empathetic and energetic nature. Felicia’s passion led her into the service sector. She worked as a Respite worker for a child with exceptionalities, before becoming a Health Care Aid, and supporting a dear friend who battled with ALS. She moved to Calgary in 2012, and started working for Cummins Western Canada, as a Power Generation Sales Administrator. With some clarity of purpose, Felicia decided to move back to Winnipeg. In 2018, Felicia graduated from CDI College with her Addictions and Community Services Worker diploma. After graduating, Felicia worked as a Resident Care Worker for Addictions Foundation of Manitoba. Felicia impacted the lives of many individuals. In her final days, she often spoke of her trip to Nigeria, and her deep longing to contribute to its humanitarian efforts. Felicia’s greatest aspiration was to open a group home and support socially marginalized youth.
She is survived by her mother Margaret Dijeh and stepmother Ogochukwu Dijeh. Her siblings, Brett Stocks (Lindsay Feller), Jennifer, Erika, Stella and Tracey Dijeh, and nephew and niece, Eli and Anika Thompson.
She is preceded in death by father, Bertram Dijeh, grandparents, Clarence and Jane Stocks, and Lawrence and Janet Dijeh.
Although Felicia has moved on from the physical world, she will continue to live on in our memories. The family is very grateful to the doctors and nurses at the MICU unit, Health Sciences Centre who cared for Felicia Dijeh during her final days. They are also very grateful for the outpour of love and support, by family members, friends and colleagues.
A celebration of life will be held at 1p.m., January 22, 2020, at Mosaic Funeral Home, 1839 Inkster Blvd.
