Farr Terri 2020

On May 3, 2020, Theresa Marie Farr of Ipperwash, Ontario passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia at the age of 59.
Terri will be deeply missed by Bill, her best friend, and husband of nearly 37 years. Terri was the cherished mom of Chris (Ashley) and Kim (Adam) and the proud Grandma of Evelyn and Madison.
Dear daughter to Shirley Pettit and much-loved sister of Roger, Wayne (Pam), Jamie (Carol), Chuck (Anne), Alan, and stepsister Stacey (David). Beloved daughter in law to Murray and Joyce McWhinney, and sister in law to Bob (Judy) and Janis (Henri). Terri was a much-loved aunt to many nieces and nephews and will be missed by several cousins. She will be fondly remembered by many friends, including the Mary Street gang, who was thought of by Terri as family.
Rooted in an unwavering resilience, Terri lived a life full of love, positivity, and joy. Often found with a camera in her hands, she was an expert at identifying, capturing, and sharing that joy with those around her. The sound of her laughter, the warmth of her hugs, and the impact of her selflessness will never be forgotten.
Terri’s family wishes to extend sincere gratitude to Danika and Sara of the VON for their compassion, as well as to the palliative team at Bluewater Health and St. Joseph’s Hospice. Friends and family will be invited to a celebration of Terri’s life at a later date.
For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the St. Joseph’s Hospice of Sarnia, Lambton, or the Women’s Interval Home of Sarnia-Lambton Inc. Online condolences may be left at www.GilpinFuneralChapel.com.
Arrangements are entrusted to Gilpin Funeral Chapel, 123 King Street East, in Forest, 519-786-4964.
