Obituary
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Evelyn Mae (Grant) Masters which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, September 4th, 2020. Born 1930, in Canterbury, NB, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Hazel (Ingram) Grant. Evelyn worked as a waitress at the Riviera Restaurant for many years.
She is survived by her daughter Diane Wells of Saint John; sisters Geraldine Small (Glen) of Saint John, Nadine Thomas (Frank) of Burton, NB; grandchildren Terri, Hazel, Greg and Stephanie; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Along with her parents, Evelyn was predeceased by her husband Waldo, son Stanley, brothers Ray and Willard and sisters Betty, Ruth and Alva.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). As per Evelyn’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private graveside service will be held in Canterbury at a later date. Donations in memory of Evelyn may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
