Evelyn A. E. Carten
1935-2020
Evelyn Anne Eliza Carten of Hartland passed away on Friday, January 3,
2020 at the Central Carleton Nursing Home in Hartland. She was born
February 6, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Basil and Dora
Trecartin. She was also predeceased by her husband, Arthur Carten;
daughter, Shirley Carten; son, David Carten; grandson, Johnathon
Weeks; grand daughter, Elisha Carten; great grand daughter, Savana
Clark; sister, Kathleen (Robin) Lockard; brothers, Scott (Mary-Jo)
Trecartin, David Trecartin; brothers-in-law, Paul Harris, Ronald
Ingraham, Ernest Foster.
Evelyn is survived by her children, Marie (Jeff Page) Carten of

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 6, 2020 at the Britton
Funeral Home 2 High Street, Hartland, from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. The
funeral will be on Tuesday the 7th at 1:00 p.m. from the Lorne Britton
Memorial Chapel with Pastor Michael Horsman officiating. Interment
will be at a later date in the Hillside Cemetery in Rockland. If so
desired, donations can be made to the Hillside Cemetery or the Central
