Eunice Jane Galvin (nee Starr)
January 11, 1932 – February 27, 2020
While surrounded by her family on February 27, 2020 at the Betel Home in Selkirk, MB, Eunice passed away peacefully at the age of 88 years old, formerly of Brokenhead Ojibway Nation (Scanterbury, MB).
Eunice will be lovingly remembered by her children; Bernice (Larry), Wayne, Yvonne (Matt), Merv (La-La), Gwen (Mike), Russell Jr., Wally, Laura (Mike), Mary, Julie (Greg) and Nicki (Leonard), along with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, also her best friend Rose Bear.
Eunice was predeceased by her parents Henry and Idell Starr and 6 siblings.
Special thanks to the staff of the Betel Home in Selkirk for their loving care given to our mom.
A wake will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2020 starting at 4:00 p.m., funeral services will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020 at 2:00 p.m., both will be held at the Private Tom Chief Memorial Hall in Scanterbury, MB, Pastor Dave Sinclair officiating.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Trent Galvin, Justin Brey, Cory Pangman, Gregory Galvin, Matthew Burns and Trevor Sutherland.
Honorary Pallbearers Mark Johnston, Kyle Sinclair, Colin and Kevin Pangman, Roger Burns, Kurt Desjarlais.
