BROSSEAU, Etienne
The family announces with sorrow his passing on Tuesday, February 18th, 2020 at the Elizabeth Centre in Val Caron, at the age of 92, with family at his bedside. Son of the late Maxime and the late Alma (née Duhamel) Brosseau. Beloved husband of Irene (née Lefebvre) Brosseau. Loving father of Gerard Brosseau (Louise), Carmen Gauvreau (Richard), Elaine Zoldy (Victor) and Richard Brosseau. Predeceased by his son (Baby Richard Claude) and his brothers Wilfred, Albert, Arice, Maurice, Lucien and his sisters Cecile Sigouin, Doralice Pharand, Claire Lagace, Anita Levesque, Leona Berichon and Arlina. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and by many nieces and nephews. Etienne worked 33 years for Falconbridge Nickel Mines. He was at his best in lending a hand and being a handyman for all his relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at the Elizabeth Centre in Val Caron for their care and compassion for our dear and departed father. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Friday, February 28, 2020 from 2 to 4 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. followed by a reception.
