Erwin Renz passed away on October 29, 2020 at the Grey Nuns hospital in Edmonton, at the age of 88.
Erwin immigrated to Canada settling with his wife and 2 young daughters in Fort Saskatchewan.
Here he resumed his trade as a master roofer.
He is survived by his daughter, Brigitte in Canada, sisters Karoline Berger and Erika Renz in Germany, and a brother, Mangold Renz, along with many nieces and nephews in Germany.
Erwin is predeceased in death by his mother, Maria, brothers; Josef, Reinhart, Siegfried, Andreas, Willi, and a sister, Anna.
Memorial donations in his memory may be directed to the Alberta Diabetes Foundation 8602 112 St, Edmonton AB T6G 2C5.
