Ervin D Richards Monday November 23rd 2020

Ervin Donald Richards passed peacefully away with his wife, brother Alan and sister in law Lorna by his side, at Dr. Hugh Twoney Health Centre in Botwood, NL, on Monday November 23, 2020 at the age of 72.
Ervin is predeceased by his father Wilfred Richards and brother Wade Richards.
Left behind with loving memories is his wife Alice of Glenwood, NL, his two sons, Dion(Kelly), Robin(Melissa) of Labrador City, granddaughters April(Reilly) and Stacy(Shawn), grandson Eric and two precious great grand sons Thomas and Leo, and was awaiting the arrival of his new great grand daughter in February. His mom Marjorie, brothers Derrick, Rick(Delphine) and Alan(Lorna) Sister in laws Joy, Patsy(Wilfred) Sis, Ann Marie(Linden), Brother in laws Tom(Ivy) and Vince(Denise) also a large circle of nieces and nephews.
Ervin met Alice at a snack bar in Glenwood in 1966, it was love at first sight. Ervin and Alice were married August 17, 1968. Ervin worked in Churchill falls for a short time before he moved to Labrador City to start his career at the Iron Ore Company of Canada in 1972 as a Heavy Equipment mechanic. They had two sons Dion and Robin, and lived a beautiful life in Labrador before returning to Glenwood when he retired in October 1999. Ervin will be remembered for being a good man, a hard worker and for his witty sense of humour. He loved his music, having a dance with Alice and enjoyed his daily walks around his community.
